  • Who can drive the motorhome?

    All named drivers must be over 25 (Drivers over 75 need to contact us first for confirmation), of good health and have held a full/valid driving licence for at least two years.


    Up to two additional drivers can be added at an additional charge of £10 per day/ per driver. 

    The licence must be clear of any endorsements apart from up to six points for Speeding Offences. If there are any other current endorsements, special conditions may apply.


    Persons with serious convictions within the last eleven years will not be permitted to drive the hire vehicles (including drink driving offences).


    Visitors from abroad (does not apply to EU Countries) are advised to obtain an International licence. It does not automatically disqualify you from driving if you do not meet the required criteria, but we shall need to refer you to our insurance company to check if they will offer insurance cover.

  • How to pay?

    A minimum of £250.00 p/week or part week of hire is required to secure your booking. Full payment is due 30 days prior to the collection of the vehicle. 


    We accept debit card payments or bank transfers (no credit cards or cash). 

  • Where can I travel to?

    You can travel anywhere in the UK/ EU.

    If you plan to travel outside the UK, you must inform us at the point of booking, as a VE103R document must be obtained by us prior to the collection date. Bookings for EU travel, add £100 for EU breakdown/Insurance.


    Unlimited mileage for UK travel and a Maximum of 2000 miles for European travel.


    A charge of £1.00 per mile will be charged for any mileage exceeding 2000 miles on EU trips unless otherwise agreed in writing by Prestige Leisure hire in advance.

  • What happens if I need to cancel?

    Cancellations must be in writing and are charged as follows:


    If you cancel your confirmed booking more than 4 weeks before the commencement of hire, you will forfeit the booking deposit.


    If you cancel your booking up to 4 weeks before or fail to turn up for commencement of hire, you will forfeit the booking deposit and hire charge already paid.


    We advise that the hirer takes out their own travel insurance.


  • Will we need to pay a damage excess/ security deposit?

    A damage excess/ Security deposit will be taken upon collection of the vehicle of £1000 minimum and is fully refundable upon the safe return of the vehicle on the agreed date and time unless otherwise agreed by Prestige Leisure Hire Ltd.
